I'm a perfectionist and a procrastinator - a volatile cocktail for an otherwise motivated songwriter! Finding myself stuck inside during the pandemic of 2020, I realized I had the time, resources, and a pile of ideas I've been sitting on forever. No more excuses!

This song is about having a steady, predictable nature and being 'OK' with that; why sometimes the goal shouldn't be to change the world, but simply to finish what you start.

I draw my life as an arrow in slow motion,
Straight and steady down the track
Not trying to change the world or conjure deep emotions,
Just want to see this through and have something to play back
