Living in a concrete head space, Cut and dry, predictable Prophecy is self-fulfilling, A method you control Sometimes we need a shakeup, A dose of unreality Sometimes that wrong left turn, Holds the magic key Hit me up for a test drive, On the skyway of sound Fire up the ignition, It's a journey profound Hit me up for a test drive, On the skyway of light Grab the wheel with both hands, And prepare to take flight Grounded tangible existence, Comfortable, familiar Taking our routines for granted, Passing time becomes a blur If you need rejuvination, A way to spark the inner flame Here's your route to new sensations, You will never feel the same (Chorus)

Confession 05:16
When you asked me on to the dance floor, It broke my heart 'cause I couldn't dance Outwardly I have all the answers, Truth is, it's so hard taking a chance Below the surface, Insecurity Can I deliver, On this image of me? Here's my confession, I'm not who I seem A daily struggle, Trying to measure up to me When it came my turn to deliver, I blanked out, it was over my head It seemed like I had it together, If they only knew, I would've fled (Chorus)

Our supply ship is four days late, And now the communication systems are down Will we be found? At the time it was so romantic, Pioneering a planet - uncharted ground, But where are we now? We all knew of the risks inherent, Wearing glasses of rose-tint Now darkness enshrouds, What was that sound? (Hold on) Hold on one more day (Hold on) Help will come our way (Hold on) Hold on one more day (Hold on) Help will come our way Warning screams from a hostile creature, Spine-shivering sound that haunts my brief dreams Now I can't sleep Captain says that the atmosphere, Is thinning with every hour - there's no relief I struggle to breathe (Chorus) My wife and daughter Wish I could tell them, I love them so What if they knew I was not coming home anymore Now it's time for me to let go

In My Nature 03:22
I draw my life as an arrow in slow motion, Straight and steady down the track Not trying to change the world or conjure deep emotions, Just want to see this through and have something to play back Could be it's in my nature Not Takin' It To the Streets, It's just a hook, supported by a backbeat No Revolution Nine, It's just a track - the world will carry on just fine It's kind of fun to aim straight down the center, Don't overreach, don't under-serve Just iterate, no need for grand adventure, Just want to finish this and have something to preserve Could be it's in my nature (Chorus)

A huge 'Thank You' to: My parents Rob and Sharon, who fostered and encouraged my passion in music from a very young age; my wife and best friend Crystal for her endless support, encouragement and inspiration; all my band mates and the wonderful greater Kalamazoo music scene.

This EP is a long time coming, and it's both gratifying and relieving to finally put my music out in the wild - I sincerely hope you enjoy!
